“When Bad Does Good” è la canzone inedita contenuta nel nuovo cofanetto dell’ex cantante di Soundgarden, Temple Of The Dog e Audioslave scomparso nel 2017, in uscita il 16 novembre e intitolato semplicemente “Chris Cornell”. Si tratta della prima pubblicazione postuma dell’artista di Seattle – autorizzata dalla moglie Vicky – e oltre all’inedito “When Bad Goes Down” contiene anche le registrazioni di “Reach Down” e “Stargazer” (cover dei Mother Love Bone) tratte dal concerto a Seattle del tour della reunion dei Temple of Dog del 2016. Nel box “Chris Cornell” inoltre ci sono la versione studio di “Hunger strike” con Eddie Vedder alla voce e “Hey baby (Land Of The New Rising Sun)” che l’ex Soundgarden incise insieme a Mike McCready, Jeff Ament e Matt Cameron per un disco tributo a Jimi Hendrix.
