Dopo i tre concerti italiani di giugno – la band รจ tornata a Roma dopo 22 anni – i Pearl Jam sono tornati a suonare a Seattle e piรน nello specifico al Safeco Field, stadio dei Seattle Mariners, per tre eventi consecutivi chiamati #TheHomeShows.ย Durante la prima serata, mercoledรฌ 8 agosto 2018, Eddie Vedder e compagni hanno eseguito 33 canzoni per oltre 3 ore di show con una scaletta composta non solo dalle hit storiche come “Even Flow”, “Black” e “Alive” ma anche innumerevoli canzoni di altri artisti. Sono ben 8 le cover eseguite dalla band statunitense: “Throw Your Hatred Down” e “Rockin’ In The Free World” di Neil Young, “Help!” e “I’ve Got A Feeling” dei Beatles, “Again Today” di Brandi Carlile”, “Comfortably Numb” dei Pink Floyd, “I Am A Patriot” di Little Steven e “We’re Going To Be Friends” dei White Stripes, quest’ultima debutto assoluto dal vivo dei Pearl Jam.ย
