Finalmente Bruce Springsteen ha annunciato il suo ritorno discografico insieme alla fedele E Street Band: si chiamerร “Letter To You” il ventunesimo album in studio dell’artista e uscirร il 23 ottobre.
Registrato nella sua casa in New Jersey, “Letter To You” sarร un disco rock ed รจ stato anticipato dal singolo omonimo corredato da un video diretto da Thom Zimny, regista di “Western Stars”.
Springsteen dichiara:
“Amo l’essenza quasi commovente di Letterย To You. E amo il sound della E Street Band che suona completamente live in studio, in un modo che non avevamo quasi mai fatto prima, senza nessuna sovraincisione. Abbiamo realizzato l’album in soli cinque giorni, e quella che ne รจ venuta fuori รจ una delle piรน belle esperienze di registrazione che io abbia mai vissuto”
“Letter To You”ย contiene 9 brani scritti recentemente da Springsteen e 3 leggendarie composizioni degli anni ’70 finora inedite:ย “Janey Needs a Shooter”, “If I Was the Priest”ย eย “Song for Orphans”.
Il disco รจ prodotto da Ron Aniello insieme allo stesso Springsteen, mixato da Bob Clearmountain e masterizzato da Bob Ludwig.
