I Future Islands annunciano il sesto album “As Long As You Are” in uscita il 9 ottobre, anticipato dal primo singolo e video “Thrill” ideato e interpretato dal frontman Samuel T. Herring.

“As Long As You Are” è un album sulla fiducia, guarda al passato ma anche al futuro, confrontandosi con vecchi fantasmi e abbracciando nuove speranze. Prodotto da Steve Wright, vede unirsi alla band il batterista Mike Lowry.
 
Il 9 ottobre, i Future Islands trasmetteranno in streaming un concerto speciale dalla loro città Baltimora. “As Long As You Are” sarà disponibile su CD, vinile nero standard, vinile blu petrolio, vinile arancione fluorescente e cassetta.
