Douglas Dare ha annunciato l’uscita del suo terzo album “Milkteeth”per il 21 febbraio su etichetta Erased Tapes, prodotto da Mike Lindsay (Tunng, Lump): il primo singolo estratto è “Silly Games”.
Precedentemente noto per le sue doti al piano, nel nuovo album Dare approccia nuovi strumenti, tra cui l’autoharp e la chitarra. “Milkteeth” si muove tra linee di pianoforte, arpeggi e testi che parlano di innocenza infantile, vulnerabilità e di ballate per le nuove generazioni, testi deliberatamente semplici e familiari sin dal primo ascolto.
Il debutto di Douglas Dare risale al 2014, con “Whelm”, seguito nel 2016 da “Aforger”. Nel 2017 Dare è stato chiamato a reinterpretare “Dance Me To The End of Love” in occasione della Leonard Cohen exhibition “A Crack In Everything at the Contemporary Art” al museo di Montreal, attualmente in mostra al Jewish Museum di New York.
