I Foo Fighters hanno organizzato un concerto a sorpresa venerdì 4 agosto al Metro di Chicago, città che ospita i questi giorni il Lollapalooza.
La band di Dave Grol ha eseguito 32 canzoni per più di tre ore e mezza di concerto, in scaletta cover di AC/DC, Queen, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers e The Roling Stones.
I Foo Fighters sono inoltre stati raggiunti sul palco da Perry Farrell per Mountain Song, canzone dei Jane’s Addiction.
Non potevano mancare in scaletta brani come Run e La Dee Da contenuti in Concrete and Gold, nuovo album dei Foo Fighters in uscita il 15 settembre. I 1.100 fortunati fan hanno potuto così assistere allo show più lungo della storia di Dave Grohl e compagni.
